About the Association
Hereworth is a unique and special place and the years spent here are some of the most formative years in a boys all round development. Because of this the bonds formed whilst at Hereworth are strong and enduring. These bonds tend to last well into adulthood, withstand the test of time and continue well beyond the school gates.
The Hereworth Old Boys’ Association (HOBA) was established in 1948, it is an informal but energetic body that provides a link for past pupils with the School. The Association supports annual bursaries, financial assistance with minor projects within the School and is actively involved in the school’s governance with Board of Trustee representation.
Regular social gatherings and the annual 'Old versus Current' boys’ cricket match form the basis of the remaining Association activities. There is also the bi-annual 4WD Rally and a number of other initiatives on the social calendar.
HOBA will keep you informed through regular email updates of events, gatherings and reunions in your area, so it is important to update your contact details including your email address. There is also be the annual Locker Room publication which can be received via post or email.
All boys are encouraged to join the Association to retain a connection with the school and to stay in touch with those who share a common connection. Hereworth Old Boys are scattered across the globe so we encourage them to regularly visit the site and keep up-to-date on news and upcoming events.
The Development Office was formed in 2011 and provides support for the Old Boys, Friends and Family of Hereworth, past staff to retain their link with Hereworth, their classmates and, where possible to participate in school activities and events.
