Facilities
In addition to our well appointed and resourced classroom blocks, Hereworth is fortunately blessed with an outstanding Music and Technology building - the 'Izard' building, which was opened in March 2007. The contents of this state of the art facility are outlined in the Technology page of this section of the website.
The original main building ('Wiremu') contains a vibrant, well equipped library, stimulating Art Studio, Science Lab, learning support room, a number of music practice rooms, newly renovated ‘Founders' Room and welcoming reception/administration area. The library is an exceptionally well resourced, comfortable, inviting space and is the academic heart of the School. In the same way, the Chapel is its spiritual heart.
A newly developed Junior School block (‘Alpha' to Year Three classes) is very spacious, self contained and in close proximity to other school facilities.
