Children flourish in a happy and secure environment. Hereworth provides a framework of fair and sensible guidelines, where the natural spirit of boys is celebrated and moulded, not 'squashed'. Good manners are seen as an extension of courtesy to others.
The boys are actively encouraged to develop a sense of self-discipline and purpose to prepare themselves for future life. There is a real sense of family within the School with active Squad, House and Buddy Systems encouraging self and social development. Personal incentives include Merit Cards, which lead eventually to the Hereworth Honours Certificate.
