Christmas Greetings

I take this opportunity to extend to members of the Hereworth community, my best wishes for a very Happy Christmas and for a bright and prosperous new year in 2023.  

Our School Community in 2022, despite the challenges associated with COVID Alert Levels earlier this year, has been richly blessed, and we can look back on a School year in which much that is worthwhile has been accomplished.

Thank you to parents, grandparents, Old Boys, Board members and staff for your encouragement and support of Hereworth and making it a special place.

Thank you, in particular, to our boys for your enthusiasm, your love of learning and your willingness to care for and support one another and the wider community. You give purpose and direction to all that we do, and make it all so worthwhile.

Mrs Barman and I look forward to sharing with the School community in many amazing experiences and new learning opportunities next year – one that will be very different as we welcome girls to Hereworth and commence our journey as a co-educational learning environment.

This is a truly exciting time to be at Hereworth. I feel very privileged to be at the helm of this change. As we move towards a future which is collaborative and inclusive, our duty as a School remains the same – to make sure that every child who leaves us is a lifelong learner, a leader, someone connected to their community, and a young man or woman that is ready for the adventures and opportunities that lie ahead.
