If you're in Central Hawke's Bay and you're interested in boarding for your child, or you’re a former student/past or current Hereworth family member,  you’re all invited to our Community Catch-Up happening in CHB at the wonderful Taniwha Daffodils on Tuesday, 10 March.

This is the perfect opportunity to get any questions you may have about boarding thoroughly answered, as we'll be bringing Headmaster Matt Allen, as well as our Boarding House Director Ian Scott, and other members of our teaching staff. 

All of the exciting plans for boarding will be revealed, including the inclusion of a limited edition Girls' Boarding area for later in 2026. This is an important step in reaffirming our dedication to boarding for all at Hereworth, and you can learn about this and everything else at this event. 

Your son will also get a real sense of what boarding will be like at Hereworth as he meets other Hereworth students in uniform, and can pepper them with questions about what it's really like to have 22 hectares of school grounds to play in once the day is done. 

All of this will take place at Taniwha Daffodils, where we'll provide the catering and drinks for all to enjoy. Parking is plentiful and the venue is fantastic, giving our CHB boarding families, Alumni Members and former Hereworth families a delightful chance to catch up in serene circumstances.
