Key Contacts

Once your child has started at Hereworth, their homeroom teacher will be your primary contact for any queries. We will share essential contact details with you around one or two weeks before your child’s first day with us.

Hero

Hero is our dedicated school app and functions as the primary means of communication between the school and families. All classroom teachers, sports coaches, the school office and the Headmaster utilise this platform to post notices, so Hero is your most comprehensive resource for staying informed.

Instructions on how to download the app and receive email notifications will be sent closer to the beginning of the next school year. Access to the app for families of new students will be enabled one week prior to Term 1, or to your child’s start date if they are not joining us later in the school year.

Weekly Class Notices

Each weekend, your child’s homeroom teacher will send a message via the Hero app with key information for the upcoming week.

Seesaw

Our new entrant classes also use Seesaw to keep a close connection between home and school. Your child’s teacher will introduce you to this system and arrange access from your child’s first day in the classroom.

Social Media

If you are not already following us on social media, please do!  We are very active on Facebook and Instagram, regularly sharing photographs and stories highlighting the wide range of activities and events taking place at the school.

Accounts

Fee invoicing and payments

Fees are invoiced monthly over a 10 month period, from January to October, with payments due by the 20^th of the following month. We have an agreement with banks to collect fees by Direct Debit and a form will be sent to you a few weeks before your child’s start date to get this set up.

Disbursements

Additional costs, known as disbursements, include items such as camps, extra stationery or uniform, school trips and sports subscriptions. These will be added to your child’s account in the month in which they are incurred. We will always communicate these costs with you before they are charged to your account.

Fees for 2026 will be set by the Board in Term 4 and communicated to you as soon as the new fee schedule is available.
