Hereworth School uniform items are available from our on-site shop which stocks new items and a selection of high-quality second-hand pieces.

Ms Becs Jensen, our Uniform Shop Manager, will contact families of all new students to arrange a one-on-one fitting appointment for your child.

At the appointment, Becs will ensure your child is fitted with everything they need for the start of Term One, including their day-to-day uniform, dress whites and sports kit.

Regular Uniform Shop Hours

For any additional uniform purchases once your child has started at Hereworth, the Uniform Shop is open every Wednesday during term time, from 8.00am to 10.00am.

Naming

Please ensure every item of uniform is clearly named, including socks, ties and shoes. Hereworth students frequently move between classrooms and changing rooms, so can easily lose track of their belongings. The Uniform Shop will provide details of our preferred name label supplier when they contact you to arrange your child’s fitting.

Haircuts

Our students are expected to take great pride in their appearance. Natural hair colour must be maintained, and extreme hairstyles including, but not restricted to, a mohawk, shaved patterns, shaved hairstyles, dreadlocks, mullets, ridges, steps and/or undercuts are not permitted.

For boys, hair should be short enough so that it does not touch the collar and remains out of the eyes when combed straight down. For girls with hair below collar length, it must be tied back using dark bottle green, brown or black hair ties, scrunchies, headbands or clips. Girls must also keep their hair off their faces by using hair elastics, small combs or hair clips of a neutral colour or dark bottle green, brown or black.
