After five years at the helm of Hereworth, our Headmaster Trevor Barman has decided to step away from the School and return to Australia with his wife Jen. We recently held a farewell afternoon tea in his honour, to thank him for his efforts during this period.
And needless to say, it’s been an eventful five years! Throughout Covid, Cyclone Gabrielle and co-education, Trevor’s unwavering work ethic and outstanding demeanour have helped Hereworth to navigate an incredibly challenging period. He’s leaving the School in a strong position, with co-education successfully implemented and the largest roll in our 97 year history.
Having so many parents, staff, students and Old Boys turn up to pay their respects and give thanks was wonderful to see. Trevor and Jen, you will be sorely missed around the School and your kindness, thoughtfulness and work ethic are all things we love to see in our pupils and staff. Have a wonderful Christmas in Australia and feel free to visit us whenever you please
